Job Verdonschot’s thesis focuses on how dilated cardiomyopathy can be detected and treated by looking at both genotype (DNA) and phenotype (clinical factors and lifestyle). His research shows how combining genetic information with lifestyle data can help identify the condition more clearly and support better treatment. For the cover and inside illustrations, I used a direct image of a heart combined with abstract shapes that represent DNA factors as well as healthy and unhealthy lifestyle patterns.
